Shipping Policy

Wheels are big, and shipping them well takes a little more care than sending a t-shirt. Here is exactly what to expect from the time you place your order to the moment it arrives at your door.

Processing Time

Orders are processed and submitted to our distributor within 1–3 business days of payment confirmation. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding US federal holidays. Orders placed on Friday afternoons or weekends enter processing the following Monday.

Shipping Methods

Ground parcel (UPS/FedEx). Single wheels or sets of two in smaller diameters typically ship via standard ground parcel service.

Freight / LTL. Sets of four wheels, larger diameter wheels (18" and above), and heavy-duty truck wheels often ship via LTL (less-than- truckload) freight. Freight shipments are delivered to your curb or driveway — the driver is not required to bring wheels inside. If you need inside delivery or lift-gate service, contact us before ordering.

The shipping method is determined automatically based on your order contents. Both options are included in our free shipping offer for the contiguous US.

Shipping Cost

Shipping is free on all orders to the contiguous 48 US states. No coupon code needed — free shipping is applied automatically at checkout.

Transit Times

After your order ships, typical delivery times within the contiguous US are 3–7 business days. Transit time varies by destination and carrier. You will receive a tracking number via email as soon as your order leaves the warehouse. Freight shipments may require the carrier to call ahead to schedule a delivery window — make sure the phone number on your order is current.

These are estimates, not guarantees. Carrier delays, especially during peak holiday periods, occasionally push deliveries outside the typical window. If your order is significantly delayed, email support@alloyhaus.com and we will investigate with the carrier.

Freight Delivery and Inspection

This is the most important section of this page. Please read it before your wheels arrive.

When a freight shipment arrives, inspect the packaging carefully before signing the delivery receipt. Look for:

  • Crushed, torn, or punctured boxes
  • Visible dents, scratches, or finish damage to the wheels
  • Missing items (count the boxes against your order)

If you see damage, note it on the delivery receipt before the driver leaves. Writing "subject to inspection" or describing the specific damage on the receipt is your protection. Do not refuse delivery unless the damage is catastrophic — accepting with a notation on the receipt is the correct procedure and preserves your claim.

If you sign a clean delivery receipt without noting damage, it becomes significantly harder to file a freight claim with the carrier. We want to make this right for you, but we need that paper trail.

Reporting Shipping Damage

If your wheels arrive damaged, email support@alloyhaus.com within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the damaged packaging (outside and inside)
  • Photos of the damaged wheel(s)
  • A copy or photo of the delivery receipt noting the damage

We will file the carrier claim on your behalf and arrange for a replacement or refund. Do not discard damaged packaging until we confirm it is not needed for the claim.

Lost Packages

If your tracking shows delivered but you have not received your order, check around your property and with neighbors first — large wheel shipments are hard to misplace but it happens. If the package is genuinely missing, contact us within 7 days of the marked delivery date. We will open a carrier trace and, once confirmed lost, ship a replacement or issue a full refund.

Address Restrictions

We cannot ship to PO Boxes or APO/FPO/DPO military addresses — freight carriers do not service these addresses. Please provide a physical street address at checkout.

We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or international addresses. We ship to the contiguous 48 US states only. If you are in Alaska or Hawaii and interested in ordering, contact us at support@alloyhaus.com to discuss options.
